i posted about being a male escort but people thought that meant prostitute but they dont like the term escort or gigalo bc its politically incorrect and there is a stigma attached to it, i would be known as a companion and thats it.

I think the stigma is because escorts are also often known to them provide sexual services at the end of their “companionship.” They just call it being an escort so they can skip over anti-sex work laws. Not saying all escorts do that but it’s a stereotypical view of them.

I don’t have anything against sex work so long as it’s voluntary. I think perhaps if it was legal everywhere it could be more carefully regulated to save minors and other unwilling participants from trafficking. Though some have argued making it legal would actually make that worse.

as far as i know it is legal what i am thinking of doing but obviously there are laws about age and consent and everything but everybody knows those rules and i would never cross them so its not illegal.
