It is cold and snowy and icy now. Our street outside is packed with ice to the point where the kids across the way are sledding on it. Iām amazed they donāt get run over by a vehicle.
Doesnāt work well when youāre out with a camera and your arthritic hands hurt from the cold.

My back deck on Monday morning. Last year it snowed in October, it stayed, and the last of it melted near the end of April the following spring.

This is a nice time of year that leads quickly into winter we have halloween, bonfire night and rememberance Sunday first.

I remember one year, it snowed a day or two before Halloween. All the kids wore heavy coats because of the weather, and you couldnāt tell what anyone was. Iād just give a generic, āGreat costume!ā before moving onto the next kid with a compliment that didnāt register a specific character/costume at all. I donāt even know what my own kids dressed as that year, but their coats looked simply ah-mazing, darling!
