I mean if I do have autism has my whole life been a lie … have I been acting or masking to appear normal… ?

Who diagnosed you with only autism?
Psychologists can’t diagnose you with anything here, only psychiatrists. They have no right to prescribe meds.

My psychotherapist is trained to look for cognitive difficulties and yes she cannot diagnose however she can write reports and consult my pdoc

Ok so only your pdr can diagnose you and prescribe you meds. Its like here. Well you have no other choice than listening to your pdr then.

Thanks … as also spoke to pdoc who thought it was just anxiety so I’m on zoloft but I dont feel it is just anxiety… something else is going on
