my dad had an appointment the 21st with a Nurse Practitioner who didn’t even bother to show up to see him my dad waited in a room for over 25 minutes still she didn’t show to come get him from the room my dad was livid or pissed off and just left. I don’t think Mental Health Nurses and Drs don’t really care about their patients and especially those that work at these places behind the desk answering the phone every day and when you go off on them that answer the phone, they probably just note that you’re mental and crazy and think nothing of it. I don’t think its right to treat mentally ill people that way and then we are made out to be the crazy ones which we probably are, but I think those that work with the mentally ill are a little strange themselves. And when my dad explained to the receptionist on the phone that the nurse was a no show and he didn’t get seen she acted as if she didn’t know what he was talking about talk about dense and scatter brained on her part. My Dad was getting perturbed just trying to explain the situation to her I hope when I go in December I get seen if not I will probably walk out too.
