Have you heard about CBD oil for anxiety… i saw it on amazon so thought it was ok to post here if its legal… my question is has anyone tried and has it worked?

Expensive and actually damaging to the blood-brain barrier. Sorely overrated.

Keep it up! I don’t think psychiatry is thorough enough when it comes to mental disorder treatment.

You could find something that works for you. But do keep your pdoc in the loop with what you’re taking.

I told my psychiatrist I came completely off weed for the first time in over 10 years… I haven’t smoked it in about thirty days now. He told me to consider trying CBD oil, which surprised me because I was hoping I could just stay away from all things marijuana related. He seems to think it might replace what THC-focused marijuana did for my insomnia, without causing the same psychotic symptoms. I live in California at the moment so it’s an option.

If nothing else, I’m pretty sure the oil is expensive, and I’m enjoying the money I’m saving from not smoking pot, so I think I’ll probably avoid it. It’s something to keep open as an option in the future I suppose. I lived the majority of my life in a state where marijuana was illegal so this is all kind of new to me.

Didn’t do anything for me, anxiety was no different, big waste of money imo

Didn’t like it for myself. Tried to vape it, and two drops under the tongue. Found it increased anxiety if anything.

It helped me calm down, messed with my mindstate a little bit though
I’d say it helped me overall, kinda expensive daily use etc.

It didn’t work for me. It gave me anxiety. It didn’t seem to help much with anything else.

I read in to it further, and it seems like pure CBD oil might help with blood-brain barrier integrity.

Smoking weed will damage it though, guaranteed.

I wanted to try it but I travel a lot and can’t take it with me so I can’t depend on it. I tried so many prescription medications but only nicotine is working. Like I did 2 hours of meditation a day, 1 hour of yoga 20,000 steps, nicotine is like an instant feel good relief and lasts for an hour.

I smoked hemp cigarettes and they SORT OF helped me mentally. I had to stop though because it smelled like actual weed and my roomates didn’t like the smell
