Mistakes were made.
I tend to call war a mistake to begin with.
I feel sorry for the Afghani’s who got use to a certain way of life and now will probably be forced to live under a strict version of Shariah law.
But the trauma of the war will be over.
No, you can damn well bet there will be executions and torture by the Taliban.
They are torturing, raping, and murdering young girls.

They’re guilty of gross human rights violations, especially when it comes to women.

I think of all the vets that lost their lives or limbs or have psychological problems because of the war and it was all for nought. Plus a trillion dollars down the tubes. Plus all the progress they have made is going to get turned upside down.
I don’t call that minding their own business.
@PinCushion the provincial capital I helped secure peace for, Mehtar Lam, fell yesterday. You have no idea how frustrating that is.
Let’s not normalize torture of citizens as long as they “mind their business”
