I do not need to go to Greece

Back in 1986 I went to Greece in the summer, it was nice and warm, but now it is nice and warm here in Northern Europe, over 20 C degrees, nice to ride a bicycle, well the world is changing.

Many people in Finland have summer cottages near lakes and this is the perfect weather for people to go to these, go to sauna and maybe have few beers and enjoy this nice and warm weather, saves a lot of money by not needing to travel to warm countries. It has been now 14 years exactly since I left Miami, it was hot there, but the nice temperature seemed to have followed me. I can see people enjoying this current climate. I do not have any night life by myself, but I can just imagine what happens at nights. The Sun rises quite early already. What is the nicest thing, to have a cup of coffee, watching the Sun rising and listening birds singing early in the morning.

Would love to spend summer in the Northern Europe countries. Here in the uk it rains a lot in summer. What is it like in Finland?

It all depends, now it has not rained in many weeks, the temperature varies, July is typically the most hot month, some say that the summer is the best time to visit here, but that depends too, depending what type of an experience one likes. In July it can be as high as 30+ C degrees and then in January it can be as low as -30 C degrees. There are many festivals and concerts in the summer.

In my old life I visited England and London three times, the weather was good in those times. One of my memorable trips was to Devon, England where I stayed three weeks, I was just 16 years old then. I suppose it all depends how the weather is.

I stay in Glasgow where we get the rains off the Atlantic. Devon is beautiful - spent holidays there. Scotland has the most beautiful areas in all the uk though.

It so warm now that when I sat outside in the sunshine I burned my arm, it is slightly red. I am sure many people go to beaches, but water is still cool and not very comfortable for swimming. I suppose this is a part of the global climate change.

I have never missed Miami and my auto living there. I am actually happy I left Miami years ago.
