Nothing special is happening, another Friday evening. I have not been able to ride my bicycle because the bicycle paths are frozen. I think that the coldest winter is now over and in one month the spring will arrive. How are you?

I am here in Northern EU in Finland. We have had the long winter but now even the snow is melting in the sunshine. I am looking forward to the next summer.

I lived in the USA in the 1990s and then after a divorce in March 2000, 21 years ago I lived in my auto in Miami and elsewhere in America. I moved back to my birth town here in Finland in 2002, 19 years ago. When I was in the USA I traveled a lot. There are many places to see in Americas too. Costa Rica was one of my favorites.

I have been in TX three times at least. I got engaged in Galveston and after that I visited a few times. When I lived in my auto I slept once near Dallas, it was little cold but I had my sleeping bag and then I slept once near El Paso.

Galveston is good. I got engaged there in 1991 and then divorced in Atlanta in 2000, 21 years ago. My marriage was quite good, we traveled a lot but then it ended. I have been single now almost exactly 21 years. Life goes on.

I have a TV but I do not watch it much. I watched some covid-19 news. It is now the third phase of covid-19 pandemic. People were given more and new instructions. They are also talking about Russia’s coronavirus vaccine Sputnik. This pandemic just does not seem to go away.

Maybe one day this pandemic is over. It has been now little over one year and there is no light in the end of the tunnel. I wish the pandemic would be over soon, People need to be vaccinated more which helps to stop spreading the virus.

are winters long in finland? i think they are… i’m glad i live in belgium and don’t have too much of winter… we get some cold here but not that bad.

Yep winters are appx 5.5 to 6 months. It may seem long but one gets used to it. In this winter we got many weeks of below -15 C temperatures. Well, warmer than in Siberia. I have been in Belgium a few times. When I came back from the USA I stayed one week in a hotel in Brussels. It was good although the weather was rainy and cloudy (this was in May 2002). Brussels is a beautiful city, I especially liked the main square, I do not remember the name.

I can not take any pics any longer because my camera broke. So no more pics. Somehow I feel that everything becomes alive during the spring. Spring is one of my favorite seasons. Well, after the long dark winter I really enjoy some sunshine
