I did a Grandma thing and paid the price

I find myself more and more turning into my mother.

Even worse,

My Grandmother.

Grandma wore infamously loud makeup for her age.

Her favorite lipstick was from like the 70s, but she had a million of them.

It was this nasty green color that turned to a very bright and hideous pink upon application.

The other day I bought a seemingly chapstick type item that was boasting staying power.

I of course thought it meant moisture.

Got home and it was a light green color, but had an aloe vera plant on the label, so that seemed to add up.

Was very moisturizing and I liked it!

Went to the mirror thirty minutes later,

SHOCK!

My lips were that all too familiar horrible pink.

I dug the packaging out of the trash to find out not only was it color changing,

But it was a STAIN.

I used my best makeup remover to try to get it off.

Nothing.

Totally did it last night with my husband,

Will it wear off the lip stain?

No.

Woke up this morning with fully vibrant pink lips.

Oy vey.

Haha! Now that’s funny! How long does stain typically last?

Until you put makeup remover on it.

My lips are still stained.
