I decided my case manager can't boss me into FG APs

ive never had a case manager so intent on me changing meds.

first i don’t think its her place to recommend specific medication, specifically haldol or other FGAP.

And without even asking and making me tell her all the APS Ive gone through.

I really want to quit her. Medication is a big decision and its going into my body. this is the 4th time and i still have to defend myself. She said she’s gonna talk to my pDoc about her recommendation.

Good luck with that.

That must be frustrating. My relationship with my current case manager is the complete opposite. But i have had some that didnt listen previously in the past. Sounds like you should trust yourself and ask for a different person.

this is the worst.

i don’t have options. the system is short staffed.

if this keeps going on im gonna talk to my pdoc about what shes been doing.

If my care coordinator was like this, I’d ask for a change. In the uk case managers are usually social workers or nurses - in other words not trained in medicine; they aren’t allowed to have an opinion really. At most they can monitor side effects and inform th psychiatrist on your behalf

Right. Shes not trained in medication side effects and interactions and its just all wrong.

four hours with her in person. and if the fifth one is like this i need to get help from someone i guess i have to tell my pdoc, cause shes pushing me too hard. i already am making progress coming into the office every visit.

Make a trade with her. If she will take 20mg zyprexa, you will do as she says :yum:

I highly doubt that the psychiatrist will listen to her recommendation.
