well that still leaves 20% that I could influence by cutting back on cholesterol sources. according to my nurse, my cholesterol is a little high but nothing alarming. either way she upped my dose of Lipitor to 20mg from 10mg. she says im really healthy though.
yeah that’s what it said in my ‘scrawny to brawny’ book I bought 10 years ago. I just do whatever, maybe i’ll eat a little fruit after a workout but trying to watch my sugar intake.
Take a pill form of plant sterols to lower cholesterol by 15%, if you can’t take statins for any reason. That is what I do.
Oatmeal has the added benefit of reducing your low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol.
