They won’t give me an apt without a referral from my gp family Dr. I have an apt with him 1 March. I need to change my meds. Instead of 5mg Risperidone, try 60mg Latuda with 2mg Risperidone.

That’s an annoying system. Here you can just pick and choose a pdoc and make an appointment directly.

Why not get off the risperidone and only be on the latuda. Maybe you wont have megatives then.
Risperidone was the first antipsychotic i was on. It felt like my mind was blocked on it. I could only give 1 word answers to questions.

I already tried Latuda as the only AP. 80 and 120mg. I had bad akathisia, insomnia, nausea and some positive symptoms.
Then it sounds like latuda isnt a good med for you. How about something different entirely then like rexulti? I heard good things about rexulti.

Maybe its good at low doses like 40-60mg. Dr won’t prescribe Rexulti as he thinks its similar to Abilify but maybe I can convince him again.

Rexulti gave me homicidal thinking. Worse one ever up there with Seroquel. I liked latuda a bit.

Does your pdoc give you benztropine to help with the side effects? There’s no way I would take an AP without it. I hope it works out for you 
.

I am still prescribed Benztropine from when I had akathisia on Latuda but I don’t use it anymore as I don’t have akathisia now on risperidone.
