I bought few new things for my Studio

These are my new monitors i.e. KRK Rokit 5 mk4

I also bought FL Studio Producer Edition that I’ll use inside Reason as a VST.

And this is how it looks when having FL Studio inside Reason 12.

I am not a millionaire LOL, I’ve been buying these during the years with my pension and sound-design profits. My most expensive gear is my i9 PC, which cost me about 2400€. I paid it off in slices. (2 years in row).

I eat macaronies pretty often or other food that is cheap enough. And the new monitors were 305€ only. Millionaires would buy 8000€ ones.

Mine were $75 CDN. LOL.

Well yeah, those are cheaper than mine, I usually buy stuff for my studio that are budget “best buys”. Because my credit history is clean, I can pay off stuff in slices.

Got FL Signature Edition last year after 13 years lol… The most expensive gear I own is the Access Virus TI2 with 2.300€. My first synth was the microKORG.

Heh. Started making music when I was 16. That was 2010. Next month I will be 30. So far I have 2.5+ million streams on Spotify but was just on stage 3 times. It was fun.

Nice gear @Heigen5. It’s good you are able to make some money from your sound design.

It has a good value as I can use all the instruments and effects and samples that came with it. Some solo VST’s would even cost more per a device than the whole FL Studio does. I also used cracked Fruity Loops 3 over 20 years ago, so I kinda know it’s basics already. I also like to keep using Reason 12 as my main DAW - but it’s a feckin A to be able to combine these 2 together.

Thanks, yeah, it’s a nice extra money I get by doing that. I’ve made around 6000€ with this business.

Ive made £2.40 so far  nice speakers though, thats great youve got some nice synths for your daw. I just downloaded the free starter kit for native instruments last night, its got loads on it for free & it works nicely with my Live 11 Daw

@NeonSynth you must be very good at music production with all of them streams, thats amazing, how did you get so many streams?

@shutterbug I’ll need to check out squirrel fm again too :slightly_smiling_face:

Oh yeah, i got my speakers foc from my pal for my birthday, its the best birthday present i ever got @el_Jimbobbio

Music business ain’t easy. But promotion is making it a lot easier and if your music is good enough too, then you might succeed. And yep, the FL Studio inside Reason is a great expansion. I could use Reason Rack Plugin inside FL Studio, but I like it vice versa as I’m used to Reason and love it’s sequencer and workflow.

that’s awesome, I’ve heard some cool stuff about reason & FL,

my kit is for beginners level, i tried the guitar synth last night & it made an ordinary plucked acoustic sound amazing. now i need to figure out what i’m going to do with it, if i like the free starter i may think about paying for the subscription £8.99pm.

I’m paying a lot for Splice atm & now i want to try & make my own sounds as well,
