How many years until it’s possible to effectively treat schizophrenia. It’s not necessarily cured but treated so effectively that most people who have it live as if they don’t.
Alright round 2. The A.I. years.
3 years (essentially the drugs that are being researched now do it)
Same year and day but I had it at 4:39. Great minds. In all seriousness though I think a lot of people on this forum are way to cynical when it comes to there timeline for this sort of thing. If you were to make the argument that we blow are selves up before it happens I’d be less skeptical but to think if we don’t it’s not going to happen sooner then later is a little tone def to me. Things just seem to be happening so quickly these days.
Maybe it will. Maybe it wont. I can tell you a short example of why I am skeptical.
When I was like 18 I watched this documentary on how soon we would all have the cure for aging. They talked about cell renewal and how we would all soon be fighting for resources because we could all live forever. I think it was on HBO.
Well, here I am 34 years later, still aging. Still that much closer to death. No cell renewal. Promises, promises, is all I can say.
Buy hey, at least we dont have to have an immortals war for resources for awhile.
