I am so glad she talks

My colleague she barely has conversations with people… people think she shy… and I don’t hear good things… They just thinks she arrogant. But she’s not. My manager even told me she was worried I wouldn’t feel welcome with her because she barely talks but she likes her. But it turns out we get on so well and we work so well together that my manager just doesn’t want to split us up.

She is a “loner” in her words. But she talks. A LOT. OMG She talks SO MUCH. Like my partner he is a big introvert too but I am glad I got him out and he likes to talk to me

I think these relationships work because I am a “LONER” too :joy:

I don’t get it…you’re a “loner” yet you you have what you describe as “relationships which work”. Bit of a contradiction there lol!

Maybe if I explain this differently. I get on with “loners” more than I do with extroverted peoples… We just get each other… I think so anyway,

I see…so you score high on the introversion personality trait?

Never taken a test. But I know in social gatherings I feel so awkward… if I am lucky there is a quiet person in the corner I just sit there with them so I don’t feel so awkward and alone… if I am unlucky, I just look awkward and out of place… like I need to run.

I learn something everyday.

I’m introverted and socially awkward as well! It seems so different to people when they see me talking to close friends when I can’t shut up.

I’m kind of the same way. I have a funny moment here and there. Except I go years without finding other introverts to be friends with.

Not necessarily. They get along so well together which is great because they’re both usually the outcast. Perfect sense to me.
