I was enjoying entertainment on the large viewplate yesterday evening, but feeling discomfited by the temperature. Fortunately I was able to have an air cooling unit delivered today with the press of a button on the automated ordering system. What an amazing time to be alive.
All I’m missing is an inertron belt.

Both of the original Buck Rogers novels are public domain now I believe and still worth reading. Amazing how much of the tech came to be and how much was horribly wrong. Still, I’d say that Nowlen came closer than Clark did in 2001 with guessing future tech.
Toys. Plural. Found a really good deal so got two small window units. One for our bedroom and one for the wife’s office on the main floor. I think it will be livable between the two of them.
