I am always tired

I am tired down to my very bones every single day. It’s hard to get up in the morning and doing simple tasks feels like moving mountains. I’m on Wellbrutrin and Ability. What could be the cause of this? Please help. All I every want to do is lay in bed and I’m sick of it.

compare the FDA recommended dosage and your dosage.

Lots of people have said they feel tired after just starting some medications or a dose change.

Maybe if one of these apply to you then wait about a month or 2 and see if tired feeling fades.

you and me both I feel like I am dragging my feet everyday and have to make myself get out of bed after sleeping 12 to 13 hours was sleeping longer until I have been using a CPAP machine to help me breathe at night without it I would be sleeping like 15 to 16 hours a night 12 hours is still a long time though I am also dealing with severe sleep apnea because of my weight maybe that’s why I am sleeping so much and still feel tired I don’t know I am no Dr. so I cant say for sure. I made a mistake not wearing my mask all night last night and woke up gasping for air. I hope to lose weight one day I try to stay hopeful but its hard and I blame everything on me being too fat that’s just me.

Were you tired before starting meds?

Does your doctor know about this? And is anything in particular bringing you down??

I don’t know your diagnosis, but it sounds like anhedonia and avolition, They’re problems caused by the illness and not your fault.

Yes unfortunately.

My doctor knows and we are going to talk about starting a new antidepressant on Thursday so maybe that’ll solve the problem. And yes this illness all together and everything that comes with it brings me down. :pensive:

no but am really tired now maybe my dose of meds needs adjusting or I just have to live the rest of my life this way I don’t know what to do about it any advice?

I woke up tired one day, they called me depressed and gave me meds to take.
That didn’t help.

I went back and they called me psychotic and gave me new meds.
Still tired.

Did a questioner on the computer about thyroid issues, so they checked my thyroid.
It was underactive, so I got thyroid meds.
Still tired.

Lost my med insurance, had to quit all meds.

Put on weight, still tired.
Now my weight is blamed, so I lost the weight.
Still tired.

Now I’m 53 years old, and am told it’s because I’m old.
No meds for that.
I’m still tired.

I feel demotivated, I just want to sleep forever.
Life is so tough, judgment everywhere. Why do some people tend to judge your capability as a person just because you made a mistake?

Interesting, @MissPrissy352 . I am often tired, and I have been drinking energy drinks to combat this because otherwise, i just drag my feet all day. I never considered exercising as a method of acquiring more energy. I should do little walks each day (15 mins.) and slowly build up to longer walks if I can. Maybe that will help me.

I have to say, though, I am doing MUCH better about not sleeping all day now that I am off of sleeping pills. I am going to bed at a more reasonable hour (11:30- 12:00), and I’m waking up, usually, around 5:30.
