I worked there for only about a month and a half, but sometimes I miss it. At this time last year I was working there.
It was hard physical labor, but sometimes doing such work made me feel good, knowing I was busting my ass every day.
I just wish it hadn’t been so hard on my bad back; had it not been for that I would’ve continued there. I was in so much pain every day I was there. Not to mention slicing my finger with a circular saw a week into working there.
More than anything I miss working at the same place as my best bud, getting to hang out together on our lunches. I hardly ever see him anymore. He still works there. He got me in; pretty much everyone who works there knew someone who got them in.

That sounds like such a cool job! Way bummer that you got hurt and that it hurt your back. That was smart to stop. Not worth the damage.
Cool you have a best friend! Nice of him to get you the job! You must miss him.
Yeah, it sucks that we never get to hang out anymore.
I teach biology two nights/week at a community college, and work three ten-hour midnight shifts/week at a gas station. This Friday I’m interviewing for a second teaching job at another community college, to teach Monday/Wednesday mornings. I would still need to work at the gas station, though.
