Hypnotize your voices

Just a thought but maybe if you really believe it can be done you can try to hypnotize your voices with the power of suggestion to be quiet. Maybe read up on some hypnosis scripts and read it to them. Then when their hypnotized instruct them how they should behave

Sometimes i have to sit mine down and have a stern talking to to get them to fall in line! Lol. Or more so i guess it always ends up an arguement. Hypnosis would be nice, but if i could hypnotize the voices i would rather hypnotize myself and go “Office Space” where i can stop doing the things i dont like to in life and live carefree instead of a bundled mess of nerves i tend to be at times.

Tried it! Back in the mid 2000’s, I tried to hypnotize myself into not hearing voices and also tried to hypnotize the voices into shutting up. Didn’t work :frowning:
I had read books on how to self hypnotize and I got this little flashing light and tried to hypnotize myself by thinking away my voices while staring at the flashing light. It was kind of soothing, but alas, my voices always returned and they laughed at my futile attempts to rid myself of them.

Still, now I can kind of relax myself using a flashing light or even just my breathing pattern from all those attempts at self-hypnosis!

Also had a psychotic episode where i thought people were trying to hypnotize me against my will so hypnotized myself and implanted a thought that I was unhypnotizable and nobody could ever hypnotize me ever…I would be interested in knowing if that one trick ever worked. I get really nervous about hypnosis, so I have never volunteered to test out my unhypnotizableness.
