Huge congrats to both of you!!! Severe, intractable migraines was part of my disability as well. They are absolutely debilitating. I’ve been dealing with them for the past couple of days, and it makes me wonder if I’m being stupid by trying to rejoin the workforce in a couple of years. Anyhow, I wish him the best, and I hope he has good treatment plans in place.

forgot I put away the back pay and just used it last to pay off all my credit cards. Racked up during the pandemic. And moving expenses. Some furniture.
Sadly been paying years of interest on these credit cards.
Anyway congrats again.

@Kxev thanks, we know we’re going to use a lot of it to pay off cards and stuff but we’re planning one mini vacation and season passes to a local amusement park around here

He got disability for migraines? I’m confused I have a lot of headaches so does my mom I didn’t think you could get a dime from a migraine
Edit: I’m glad just shocked migraines can be that disabling
@AwesomeFisherman it’s not just headaches it’s migraines and he’s also autistic with other problems but the migraines are disabling do a google search you’ll find I’m right

We still haven’t heard from Social Security the lawyer’s assistant said it would probably be delayed due to the holiday but I’m worried and anxious over it… We could really use the money

It also seems kinda dream like we’ve only been fighting for it for 13 months and we didn’t even go to court and that is amazing but worries me
