Hurting like hell this morning

I decided to go without Ibuprofen for a couple of days with my arthritis. I’ve been taking 400mg twice a day. The pain is somewhat better now. My sister says not to take Ibuprofen regularly as it will damage your kidneys. I told my primary care doctor how much I was taking, and he was ok with it. I don’t know if I’ll be able to manage without the Ibuprofen.
Has anyone else heard about this or any comments?

I wouldn’t take the ibuprofen everyday if you can manage.
It will damage the kidneys.

I know it’s not easy.

Maybe seeing a pain management doctor would help?

Good luck @anon54988740

At my doctor they see pain management patients on certain days exclusively. Maybe you could get in to see a pain management doctor, as @Wave said. That much ibuprofen can’t be good for you in the long term.

Yes you can’t take these meds for long. They can cause serious damage in the long term.

I’m feeling weird. I don’t know how to describe it. I took some 8-hour Tylenol Arthritis and it’s not hurting as bad. I don’t think I can do anything today though.

I have a bad history with arthritis. I recently figured out a very cheap and easy way to overcome food sensitivities that cause it though. Basically, Vitamin D3 levels determine how much zonulin is produced, which is the main culprit that causes intestinal permeability when you eat grains. If you have low D3, you produce zonulin like crazy. If you have high D3, you don’t produce much. Your intestines are placed in a net healing mode.

I heard a strategy of megadosing D3 and taking some K2 to offset a side effect to conquer wheat sensitivity and basically solve arthritis. It’s working well for me. But the doses are higher than the RDA recommends.

I took 100k IU a day for a week or so until my food sensitivity and arthritis issues resolved. I can drink milk and eat pizza without arthritis now. But it’s really high. I am waiting for a powder form to come in from ebay for affordability. Once I feel satisfactorily good I’ll dial the dose down to maybe 50k every 2 days.
