Hurricane Debby! Lol

I can’t help but laugh at news media reacting to hurricane warnings. This, if it goes where they think, will be my 9th hurricane. To folks who grew up in Florida, anything category 2 or below is just a storm…maybe I’m a bit of “Florida man”, but it doesn’t get scary till the wind is sustained above 110mph. that’s when rooves come off. Hurricane Charlie removed the back half of the building I was hiding in. This will be a rain event. I’m going fishing as the barometer drops. It usually produces a good bite.

Ha ha! I know what you mean…i lived in Florida for 20 years before moving to Alaska. I don’t miss the storms at all…or the fire ants, snakes, and palmetto bugs!

If you’re not worried then I won’t. I haven’t seen much coverage though I’ve seen images of it’s path.

Snakes are common? That is kinda scary.

Alaska is probably too cold.

As a former Florida man I agree.

Well, suns out. Probably going fishing. The strike is often good just after some rain.
