I like alot of the bands on your list.
I would say that alternative rock is my favorite genre.
It feels weird that most of the bands I grew up with are now playing on the classic rock station.
I grew up with singer songwriters from the 70s. A CD collection my mom had. She also listened to a lot of country. I know music changes over the years. But I can’t listen to country from now.
One band i like mxpx their music has changed some over the years but for the most part they sound the same
I grew up in the grunge era, then rap metal hit and I was hooked.
I never really liked country.
I do like Johnny Cash alot but I kinda consider him rock.

I like nihilistic punk sometimes. Like johnny hobo or pat the bunny.
Other times i like indie. I love bright eyes but it’s very sad. Front porch step is good too.
