How would you describe the schizophrenia?

Let start it with me first.

Schizophrenia: CLARITY AND RESPONSIVENESS
Our physical eyesight have no problem in identifying objects. Though, our mental eyesight are blurred and have no clarity in identifying subjects.

Here’s how I explain sz to ‘normal’ people:

That feeling when you wake from a dream and aren’t sure if it was real or not… But it never ends.

Or when you wake in the middle of the night after you thought you heard a noise and your senses are heightened and imagine all manner of threats in the dark, but you are too afraid to get up and see what it was.

well i’m not dx schiz’, but i do hear voices and have had delusions in the past i would describe it the same as neveragain, a waking nightmare or dream that you can’t switch off or escape from simply because it’s your own brain producing it.
