How to stop constantly thinking about death?

I think of death constantly. I think of aging. About life wasting away.

I just want to enjoy the moment. How?

I think about death every day. I’ve just accepted it’s going to happen someday whether I want it to or not and everyone is going to die someday. I just try to enjoy my life as much as possible.

I think about death occasionally. I do find the prospect kind of scary. I wonder if there is anything in the afterlife. I sometimes wonder where I will go if we do, in fact, live forever.

Get enough hobbies that you are too busy to think about the bad things because you don’t have enough time for the good things. It has been working for me for over a decade now.

I used to think about death a lot, but not so much after taking zyprexa. I have less fear in general. But also less of positive feelings unfortunately.

i don t think death since i m on prozac.before that i was thinking constantly.prozac saved my life

Me too I think I m old, but I let go that. Not everything is under our wish or control or desicion whatever you call that…

Why do you think you waste your life? Maybe choose one path you like the most and it’s not hard for you too much. And try to make some progress. And if you not make it nothing bad happens. Try to let go

LOL talk to your pdoc about it. they don’t have the answers to everything. They shun me off when I talk about some of my fears and worries like I have to figure them out. Sometimes we need to figure our selves out without any help.

I feel this way often and hate it. It physically feels like I’m caught in an avalanche. Then everything seems like it’s going so fast, then I start feeling guilty that I’m wasting my time on such thoughts and I beat myself u even more and the cycle goes on.
Honestly I think just pure distraction, whatever it is, works best for me. It takes a lot of effort to push away those thoughts though.
I hope things look up and you’re able to relax soon.
