From time to time I try to find friends online but what do I expect? I am texting them like once a month. I guess it’s impossible to make friends like that. Plus I have no hobbies. I don’t even know what to talk about. I need some advice maybe. But actually I doubt there’s a way to solve the problem.

i know how you fwwl @Darkest,…i have no friends…this website is the only social output i have…ahvent had a friend in over 10 years…i struggle to find stuff to talk about…

Talk about positive things , people don’t like negativity. Shine your light.
Talk about weather news what’s normal and simple
Talk about your dreams your passions your wishes
Talk what’s comes to your mind if it’s positive
Talk about pets if you have or want have or don’t like
Talk about exercising how you was walking somewhere and had good thoughts and ideas

About books what do you do yourself what you think about planet
I have a hard time coming up with subjects to talk about. I tend to just keep to myself and my own little thought world. When i am in a conversation the other person usually does most of the talking.

Are you knowledgeable of anything? I can talk sports even in my sleep so there’s that. Find something that interests you, could be the weather, could be current events. A good habit is to read magazines, say if your waiting to see your pdoc. Avoid your phone if there is reading material in the lobby. Magazine articles give you knowledge of subjects to talk about. Hobbies don’t seem to be a problem to me with sz and yes I do talk about that stuff to my friends. I’m the same with talking to people though and I don’t think it will improve unless my thoughts would.
Fore example me and a friend are both into the F1 and watch it together and we talk about that. Or i know someone who plays guitar and a week ago I helped him do a full set up on his guitar.
