I know some here have mentioned making jambalaya .What do you think of this recipe? How different is your version of it?

Mine is nothing like that. All you need is chicken, sausage, bell pepper, onions, celery and Cajun seating.
And of course rice.
I use Slap ya Momma
And I am a Cajun in south Louisiana.

I used chicken and sausage and sliced ham for the meats…bell pepper, celery and onion chopped, tomato sauce, vegetable stock water, white rice. and paul prudhomme’s spices for jambalaya.
edit…I don’t use the full amount of cayenne pepper that Paul is so fond of putting too much in…I like to taste the other spices so I hold my cayenne to one teaspoon no matter how big the dish.
