I use what’s called a baffler
I think that’s what they are called

They are cone shaped obstruction devices you place on the bird feeder poles

It prevents them from climbing up the pole to get to the bird feeder

I imagine you could buy some squirrel repellent and spread it around the area near the bird feeder.

I dont know if your bird feeder is hanging or standing so I dont know how practical this is.

I once had a bird feeder that squirrel started stealing food from but then the stray cats started figuring out what was going on and they took care of the issue for me.

Lol, one time I saw one cat that we were feeding run and kill a squirrel in one stride. It was oddly amazing to watch.
