Yea I think so. I mean they likely won’t put you on a ward for paranoia. But even if they do, just be clear about your needs, psychological therapy intervention, cbt, to help and reassure you with resolving the paranoia.
I tell myself that if I honestly want the best for everyone and if I honestly put in effort to be responsible for myself and communicate that clearly, I think it becomes unlikely enough that someone will want to kill me, unlikely enough to not worry about it.
I mean you never know what will happen in life, but it does help to put my mind at ease.
I think that if you go through every single thought process step that you have about paranoia to a therapist then you can have success. It may sound incredibly scary to open up about something so scary and dangerous. But, just keep in mind that the therapist will not give up on you with adjusting your thinking until the thoughts don’t become scary anymore.
So this was my personal experience and it helped me to open up, knowing that the end result will be GOOD and COMFORTING.
Just my experience but maybe yours could be similar. Idk.
