How often do you laugh and have fun?

Woah,i think laughing with others and having fun is one of the most important thing to do when you have mental illness…seriously,i am not smart, witty and funny enough as a person,i am the one that plays safe…I just cant come out as funny or i cant see the funny sides of other peoples action and jokes…i think being funny and having a laugh with others is really important for people with MI issues…i think i shall laugh more and take more actions…

gtx. try to let the laugh be natural – don’t force it, is my opinion.

see if laughing along with others just for the sake of joining in joy works for you.

I’m sure you’re know about certain subjects enough to be called knowledgeable about. That is smart. (Everyone has some smarts and some stupidity) As for witty, it tends to come from comfort you have speaking with a person, do not worry (I am not witty), being funny is a day to day thing, sometimes we say things we find funny that others would also. But regaining the feeling of wanting to laugh again is the beginning of being able to. I wholeheartedly agree with you.

i try and laugh as much as i can, i’d rather laugh than cry, not that i would cry but then its just a figure of speech i guess, i am usually just dead to things like emotions but i try my best, its like pretending to live in reality but if you can pull it off then you can find at least a little here and now,

I try to find some humor in a lot of situations.

I might not laugh out loud a lot, but I do find humor in many things.

I try to keep a sense of humor about myself.

Never really laugh. Sometimes when I have the energy I can fake a laugh really well if it’s appropriate. Which is a bit pathetic.

Once in a while, not so often. I smile a lot, but really laughing… Somewhere between once a week and once a month. Which isn’t really often enough. Often in response to comedy on TV or rl.

Have you ever heard of laughter yoga? It’s a form of laughing in groups, as a kind of exercise for the mind and spirit. Maybe there’s something to it, laughter has a lot of health benefits, it releases stuff from mind and body.

I don’t have friends to have a laugh with. But that’s life!

I think I’m the funniest guy alive!! AND…I’ve been symptom free for months now!!

Oh, SHUT Up!
No! YOU shut up!!

The path to a laugh begins with a smile.
