How much weight did you gain on haldol?

I heard haldol is the best for weight gain then again maybe some people gain some weight

I gained a little weight only because I quit being as active. It was not from the med itself.

Haldol only blocks one receptor so makes me scared iti-007 will cause weight gain

I found I had a lot of cravings at first but then cut out sugar as well as I could. My weight and cravings returned to normal.

I know two people on haldol and they are skinny.

I took haldol 40 years ago and I gained about 15 pounds around the stomach area and I never lost it. A doctor changed my pills and still I never lost the weight

I believe that it is the pills that cause the weight gain and every time that I tried to reduce the pills my weight would start to go down but I would begin to feel overwhelmed so I would have to go back to the usual dosage and the weight would come back.

So you only gained 15 lbs? Thats not that much

I am currently Med free, except for Klonopin, and I am gaining weight.
The meds might make it more difficult to lose weight, but it is possible to lose weight even on big weight gaining meds like Zyprexa and Depakote.

Its just a matter of initiating a plan that includes a sensible “diet” and including some kind of movement for at least 30 minutes a day.
It is possible.

at first I gained 15 pounds but that was poor eating habits then I lost it again and stayed the same weight for the last 6 months.

out of all the antipsychotics ive been on ive only gained about 5lbs in the last year. well i gained more but lost some.

I have only put on a few pounds but I am on Just 3 mg a day.
