Absolutely bonkers. Just shows that Psyche Wards a bad for our mental health and are useless mostly. I admit they help during initial psychosis, but the aim is to get people home where they can make faster recovery.
Time I will never get back, but at least the pay out from my lawsuit and getting ■■■■■■■■ to lose their jobs will be sweet.

Thanks I didn’t go hospital first time round in 2010. In 2020 I had a second one that landed me in the ward.
When all added together, probably a couple months.
Edit: Probably a little over, if not 3.
I spent about two months total in three different psych wards
Maybe about 4 or 5 months in total.
I had an 8 month stay in one hospital and several hospitalizations that ranged from one day at a time to a week and a half at a time.
I was hospitalized twice and spent 2-3 months inpatient.
I disagree that they are useless. Psych hospitals helped me get stable.
I’ve only spent 3 weeks in the psych hospital. 1 week at age 18 and 2 weeks at age 26. Very, very helpful when I was very unwell.
About 1/2 year in total. But prob should have been in much longer. Ahh, life without meds is always a hoot.
2 days after being on the unit, and then released,

I have absolutely no idea. But it’s been A LOT. The good news is I haven’t been in several years. The people I now get help from don’t believe I need inpatient care, even though they agree I still have psychosis. One time a couple years ago, a social worker I saw had me picked up by police and taken to the mental hospital associated with the community mental care I receive. The hospital determined I did not have to be inpatient even with my psychosis. I really lucked out.
Probably 3 months in total. And another 3 in outpatient.
Couple months total inpatient, bit more outpatient.
Approximately 1 1/2 months.
About 3 months I’d say. The food was bad. We didn’t even get menus. I walked out of there. Jk
