How much $'s do you spend on shoes?

I got a good pair of New Balance shoes for $60. My main concern is that my shoes breathe and those usually cost $100. And I buy online which is troublesome.

I try to only spend around 50 to 75$ for a good pair of quality shoes.

I haven’t bought any shoes in a while though as I already have a pretty big sneaker collection.

About every 3 years I buy a pair of Steger Mukluks to be my winter boots, they’re moosehide with canvas uppers that go up to the knees…those are about $200. They’re designed for down to -40 F. I wear some hiking boots from REI during the summer and fall, they were $110 on clearance last year.

Oh I keep it under $100 a pair. I mainly mail order shoes because I need Size EEE 12 which the mostly don’t have in the stores.

I used to spend a lot of money on shoes when I was working in 2012 and then after I got SSI in 2016. Now my dad just buys me Walmart shoes.

I always buy walking shoes and spend £150 a pair, these last 3 years where Sneakers only last 8 months at £70 a pop.

I buy a pair of scetchers for $50 to $80 once a year and a pair of sandals for around $50. I have a pair of Cark’s sandals that I’ve been wearing about 6 years now that I just can’t replace because they are so comfy. I bought the same sandals in a different color, but they aren’t all broken in and comfy yet so I wear them for a bit, then go get my oldy but goodies. They will eventually be broken in, and the leather stretched and whatnot. The new sandals I buy are just trying new things, or something to go with a certain outfit, they almost always go to my daughter because they can’t compare to Clark’s.

I honestly don’t know anymore. Seems like I always get a pair for Christmas or a birthday or my dad just picks a pair out of the blue before my current pair is worn out. I’m not a big shoe guy. I currently have one pair of tennis shoes and one pair of boots. That’s all I got.

I spend a comparable amount, but in Canuck Bucks (Canadian dollars). I need footwear that functions in extreme cold and has good grip on ice. My walking shoes usually cost around $150.

I buy my shoes from thrift stores online. You can do some good deals. I bought new balances for 18€ for example. And they were in very good condition.

It varies.

My last pair of summer shoes were 6 euros at the second hand shop. They were falling apart real quickly though. My last pair of winter shoes were more expensive. I spent 130 euros, and that was with a lot of discount. Which is a ridiculously high amount of money for me. But I like them a lot. They are comfortable, waterproof, strong and can probably be used for many years. And I like them under both dress and jeans. So I only need one pair. I thought it was worth the money.

Depends, but more often than not, I buy shoes on sale.

I decided to kinda motivate myself to start some home workouts, so I got a new pair of shoes on sale— they’re good for gym and training, the website said:

ETA: these were around 60 US Dollars, so not cheap, but not the priciest.

I really dig the HOKA Rincon 3, but they’re double what I paid for the above shoes. Good quality and extremely comfortable. I have one pair and I baby them .

I just spent $100 on some really nice quality winter boots from L. L. Bean. Usually I wouldn’t spend that much but I needed a good pair of boots and because of where they’re from, I know they’ll last.

Otherwise I’m happy spending $50ish on shoes. I wear vans a lot so those are around $50 a pair.
