I wasted a lot of money when I was in my corporate Career. $1500 jackets $8000 watches… now I’m very good with money. Don’t waste it anymore.
regret buying these designer eye glasses I never wear
I’ve wasted so much money on fancy cars I didn’t need,
Clothes, high end makeup and skincare ■■■■.
Also wasted a lot of money failing classes in school.
I couldn’t begin to add it up.
Basically every dime I made in my twenties I wasted.
Slightly over 100 000$ in 7 years bcz of Abilify.
Another member here lost over 500 000$ bcz of Abilify addiction and compulsive/impulsive pathology.
I figure I spent more than $6000 on crack over a period of four years.
And I found out it’s non-refundable.
I’d say I’ve bought some stuff I didn’t need but those items were less than $100. It’s the big ticket items that I have to be very diligent with when purchasing those finished goods.
I wasted a lot of money drinking in the army. Other than that, I don’t think I have.
I have a plan for myself if I ever reach a significant amount of money (like 90 grand) would buy a 3 bedroom double wide trailer home, place it on an acre lot in the mountains and rent 2 rooms out for 500 each - live free rent my trailer home is paid for
i never finished college, thats why i say it was a waste. thinking about going back, but this time it will be paid for with grants. i’ve seen 45 of the lower 48, the only states i havent seen is louisiana, vermont and new hampshire. and then i used to spend a lot on clothes. now i pinch my pennies.
Another question would be what was your best investment!
My own education in a technical school, a college and a university. Learning certain subjects provides insight.
I didn’t finish college but I would say I utilized what I learned even though I didn’t graduate with a degree.
I earned a lot of money with my economics degree. I also made a €50K profit on an apartment that I sold. But I also Invested £18K in a Health Sciences degree and am going to do a £18K masters which are unlikely going to result into any financially interesting jobs. Life is all about choices.
i wasted money but i always made it back. so its all good.
What faculty and what college did you receive your economics degree from?
I studied economics at the KU Leuven (which is Belgium’s number 1 ranked University). I had a master’s degree when I was 21. I’m Belgian.
Okay, I guess the higher education system is much more different than that in North America. How can you earn a master’s degree at 21 without achieving your undergraduate degree first?
I started Uni at 16. It was an integrated masters which took me 5 years.
Did you finish high school? Majority of young adults finish high school at 18 years of age. I have no clue what integrated masters is…
