How many psychotic episodes have you had in your lifetime?

Wondering if there’s an average number or if it’s random?

Like maybe 2 or 3. I dunno, they all kind of mixed together with certain beliefs coming back in the new round mixed with new delusions. Hard to say with any certainty where one began and where it ended. Until I finally broke out of them for good that is.

So many I lost count. Have very mild psychosis on and off now (aliens! whoo!) depending on stress load, but it’s manageable through meds and CBT. I have the insight I need to keep rolling.

3 big ones where I needed hospitalization.
Then many others where I could semi function for a while.

All involved some form of mania and paranoia.

3 big ones also. Many minor ones when I was “experimenting” with my medication dosage or still doing street drugs. Playing with fire I learnt.

Three. The second one was the worst. I’m glad I survived it.

Seems three is a popular answer.

I have also had three major episodes.

Regrettably two. And terrified for the next

Can I ask how long each lasted? Did meds help you end the episode?

If it’s ok for me to ask, how did the second one end?

Too many that I have lost track. It never leave me alone, but I can identify it better now so I dont go off the wheels anymore.

Several. Some bigger some smaller.
