Nice! We have a large family too, but it has split off into factions now since Covid-19. I tried to get involved to sort it out, but now I have no contact with my aunt who’s also my godmother - as she was the main instigator of the split in relations. It didn’t work
Her husband shouted at my mother unprovoked in front of my 87 yo nan, and told her to ■■■■ off - also she was not welcome there
I feel sorry for this all happening, but that’s it now.

Ugh. I’m sorry. That’s not to say there isn’t drama in the family. But I don’t care about drama. I don’t believe in cutting people off. I talk to all my family regardless of who is fighting with who.
I have never got involved before. But this felt serious enough to at least try and intervene to see if there was a chance of salvaging it. Blew up in my face, so I regret it now.
