And have you been diagnosed comorbid OCD?
I’m not diagnosed OCD but I definitely deal with some of the tendencies. So does my husband and he drives me nuts. Everything has to be just so.

I am diagnosed with schizoaffective/bipolar and OCD.
Don’t take any meds for the OCD.
Risperidone could be worsening my OCD symptoms.
I dunno. My shrink put me on risperidal in addition to a mood stabilizer and antidepressant to help my OCD. It worked until everything changed and now I need a str9ng dose of paliperidone. Still think it helps.

Yeah, I’ve got bipolar with psychotic features and OCD, it’s horrible, because when I’m manic I feel so confident, but when I’m not the OCD kicks in and I have constant unwanted thoughts that batter through my head like a freight train, I’m always fighting them and but I can’t help getting caught up in them and I feel so anxious and guilty, it’s horrible. I hate it when people say ‘oh I’m so OCD, I’m always cleaning’ and stuff like that, because OCD is a horrible and crippling illness.

Yeah I hate how OCD is used in normie lingo too. My OCD was with magical thinking so it was absolutely life shatter ing. I could barely make it through a day. Retracing steps, rewriting words, thinking I had to do ■■■■■■ up stuff to myself or else something horrible would happen.

My OCD used to make me retrace steps and rewrite words because I thought if I didn’t my family’s souls would be tortured forever in hell. One of my teachers asked me why I had crossed out and rewritten a word ten times in sixth grade

Exactly I believed that to be the case with me too. It really sucks in all honesty. I hope your issue gets better it sucks the energy out out f you
Yes my OCD completely stopped without medication eight years ago. Now all I have is anhedonia
