Hey guys , as above, i suffer from nightmares every single night not sure if it the sza or meds, anybody have any advice?

What meds are you on?
i am on 525 mg clozaril among others!
Which ones? I know some SSRI’s can cause nightmares. Also are you overweight? It could be something physical like apnoea? Have you talked to your doctor?
My dreams are negative 95% of the time. I blame my meds.
I have nightly nightmares and I’m on invega.

At least once a week is a strange dream.

Funny, i posted a similar thread last night.
Yeah i have them pretty bad and very regular.
Not sure what to do about it though.
Theres things like if your too cold while asleep its more likely youll have a nigtmare. But ive tried a few things like that and they havent helped.

Every. Single. Night.
I’m almost accustomed to them now. Only once a week or so will I get one that really rattles me. Every other week if I’m lucky.
I take 300mg bupropion and 10mg Abilify
I don’t think it’s med related though because I had them before I started meds.

Every night. Though I don’t think they’re as bad as my dad’s; he has ones about people being tortured.
They may just go away on their own. I had nightmares every night the first year I was diagnosed. The doctor even said it’s common in schizophrenia. They stopped after awhile and I just had nightmares off and on. About two years ago I was having bad nightmares; again, they went away on their own.
Now my dreams aren’t bad; they’re interesting and I’m even happy in some of them. Interestingly enough, I dream a lot about problems I’m having in real life. I used to think that the dreams solved my problems but on closer examination I could see that the solutions didn’t really make sense. I just go through periods where I have nightmares and then they go away.

The strangest nightmare I ever had was as a child I would dream that this clown that my parents brought home to me was trying to kill me. Most of my dreams are about people after me and I dream about that every night. It’s frustrating.
I did but mine was PTSD as I got over my abuse the less nightmares I had
I’ll get weird dreams that come in spurts. It’s because I’m on Geodon.
