I was wondering how many psychiatric meds you have been on or are on altogether in one day? I’m on five different psychiatric meds now but I’ve been on 7 at the most in the past. Now I take Geodon, Lamictal, Cogentin, Aricept, and Xanax.
I’m on 5 right now: Seroquel, Trazedone, Lozapine, Luvox and Clonazepam. Plus, I take Metformin
and Diamacron for Diabetes. I am doing very well on this mix of meds.
At one point i took an buproprion, propranolol, latuda, and ativan. The buproprion made me gain weight so i stopped it
When I had most at the same time I had Zyprexa, Remeron, Melatonin, Nitrazepam, Alimemazine, Zopiclone. I also had Atarax and Lergigan.
Today I have Abilify, Quetiapin, Melatonin, Oxazepam, Nitrazepam, Diazepam, Zopiclone and Alimemazine.
That was the same. Hmm. I thought I had cut down on meds.
I take 4 …Its all my night doses…
Zyprexa,Venalafaxine,mirtazapine and clonazapam…
Think I am on 5 or 6 meds. Memory is slightly funny. I get help with filling a weekly doset box so can’t remember.
Do know when they thought I was sza I was on even more.
Today I take ziprasidone, quetiapine, and buproprion. I don’t think I’ve ever been on more that three med’s at one time. When I was on Haldol one was enough.
I once switched from Geodon to Invega but didn’t wait long enough for the Geodon to wear off, the result was horrible, I nearly screamed it was so painful. I was like that for about an hour, never take Geodon and Invega at the same time!
The most I’ve been on is 4 but currently I’m on 3 until I start my new AP.
At the most, I was once on 4 different psychiatric medications.
I was on lamictal Wellbutrin zyprexa klonopin lithium and synthroid when I first got diagnosed . Fun times

I’m on Ativan, Invega, and Trilafon right now! I thought mine were a lot of meds to be taking at once!
my best friend i had and i were both on a lot of medications and would joke about it.
I can even remember how many medications I was on at once during that time period but it was heapzzzzzz.
Very sedating stuff that made me feel more retarded and i still had voices in those days despite all the medicines.
It depends what dr one has i think.
Some drs are more willing to work with the patient and what they want and feel is good for them and gently test their way to what works and what doesnt.

Four is the most I’ve taken.
Just weight gain mostly. Is pretty extreme weight gain though.
I’ve had 9. I forgot about Fluoxetine. 9 meds. Feel a bit over medicated. But most of my meds are for sleeping.

I worry I am over medicated too but whenever I try to wean down I get real bad.
I take 4 psych Meds and one twice a day. I also take 2 OTC meds for AP side effects, a sleeping pill and fish oil and a multivitamin. So I pop 10 pills a day.
4 medications. Zyprexa, ativan, artane and lithium
