I was 19 years old, so I’m not positive but I think I stayed for a week.
The longest i’ve stayed is 3 weeks. It was a very long 3 weeks.
I was in there for 9 weeks
Two weeks mostly. Here and there
3.5 weeks is my max, I think. Not sure if it’s true or if the nurses were just trying to trick me? But they said after 4 weeks they had to either release or start the legal process to be committed to the state hospital for a longer term stay.
I’ve been in dozens of times since then and they’re pretty much always 2-3 week stays.
I was in for 4 weeks the first time.
I’ve been in a research hospital where they tested unapproved drugs on me for exactly 6 months. When I first got sick I was a teenager and hospitalized somewhere for a month then transferred to a state hospital ( which was better and is now closed ) for four months. I got out and had nothing to do and was hospitalized ten days on an adult Ward, where everyone smoked cigarettes all day and drank coffee. My brother came home afterwards and that helped a lot. I got a job too.
About two years, at two long-term hospitals.
My longest stay was 6 weeks.
2 weeks two different times
Longest stay was about two months
6 months in a row but when I add up all hospital stays together it equals around 2 years of my life.
In 2016 I was involuntarily committed twice, back to back stays in a decrepit psych hospital.
2 weeks the first time then 3 weeks a month later.
Longest stay was 6 weeks. 3 weeks in NY and 3 weeks in Belgium afterwards. That was 10 years ago.
2 weeks. 151413
I think the longest I stayed is 2.5 weeks
About a month was my longest
Over 3 months as a teenager it sucked
I’ve been in the psych ward twice in the past year both times for around a week. It didn’t help it all and they put me on the max dose of resperidone. I had to work with my doctor to lower the medication and eventually stop taking it and started taking zyprexa. In my experience they just load everybody up with meds since that makes the easier to handle.
Roughly 3 months.
