I never applied to Mensa.
I did quite a few iq tests when I was younger, with scores ranging from 125 to 151. I think creativity and work ethics can overcome a gap in iq. Hard work usually beats lazy talent.

Only web-based tests.

Also, by repeatedly solving similar question patterns, we get better and subsequent scores will be higher.

Richard Feynman, recipient of a physics nobel prize, only scored in the 120s when officially tested. Intelligence has many aspects and is hard to measure.

In usa we take a standardized test for college. Was wondering if you could convert your SAT to an IQ score.
There used to be a chart for it. I’d take it with a grain of salt. Also I was half as old when I took it as I am now. My intellect has certainly changed in all those years. For better and for worse in different regards.
My SAT score of 1240 (650 math 590 reading plus I got 630 on the writing they don’t do anymore)puts me at an estimated IQ of ~126
Which is in the 95.9th percentile. Go figure.

People often talk about the high end IQ scores but I’m even more interested in the low end. Is there certain low end iq scores that “define disability” or is that not how it works.
I heard someone on quora say “my best friend has an IQ of 83 he’s borderline ■■■■■■■■but does well anyways”. I was like, that’s not a very nice thing to say about your best friend…,

I’ll probably get someone saying I’m uppity and have a superiority complex(I don’t) but if people have no problems posting photos that show how good looking they are …
