I just got a text saying that DWP haven’t received the form even though I sent it a few days before the deadline of 28th of November. Feeling concerned, even though I rang them and they said that it would be best to call next week but that it should be okay
Their notorious for losing forms so always ask for proof of postage when posting.
Dammit. I did not ask proof of postage. Oh well, manifesting is all I have now
I sent my pip appeal forms like months late. I explained y n they still accepted it thus y.
Just a suggestion.
I know urs was not late but it was near deadline
I see. Nice to hear from you btw @Zoe, how are you doing? You gonna migrate to the new forums?
Hey, yes jus keep that in mind; it may come in handy. Im ok. Just relaxin in costa. Thx. How r u?
I want 2 migrate there, i already hav. But i didnt realise bout the monthly costs so idk if i will stay there
DWP are a nightmare. I’m lucky PIP haven’t asked for proof of illness in a while. Probs soon though. And I need my claim restarted when I’m home from hospital.
It sucks that there are so many hurdles to UC & PIP when we are actually disabled and entitled.
True that. On the other hand PIP is so cool. Lol
Being eligible 4 a studio flat.
And UC is ok.
Wish i got the better health award LCWRA instead of LCW, but it is wat it is.
Wishing u a speedy recovery.
im not sure what the difference is…. I try to reach out to them multiple times about finding a job and they’ve ignored me every time on the website.
LCWRA, is for ppl who r not expected 2 recover. They get more money than LCW ppl who are expected to recover.
That weird they not responsive with u. Try shaw trust. But u have a job now?
I was with shaw trust for several months before they said they could no longer help me now im with the mental health team employment specialist but as I have found some work (even though its very much part-time) I have stopped contact with them until I start. there was one lady with st i was assigned who wanted my password to indeed felt very shady.
yeah I found a job, they’ve verbally given me a contract, but I don’t start till feb.
That is weird.,i have never heard of somethin like that.
Btw congrats on ur job. It sounds like an interesting one.
thanks @Zoe
its zero hours most likely once a week but still… its a start. also have a voluntary one
I didnt know about monthly costs either tbh. I’m happy to donate, but I’m not sure if could for so long. I feel like everyone’s still scrambling to find the solution so once that’s done hopefully there will be some way to keep it afloat in an easier fashion.
Nice Costa is always cosy. I’m doing good, I went to a Rave in London with friends on Friday and stayed down there for the whole weekend, it was a gr8 time haha
