I just got glasses for the first time in December, which is pretty damn impressive given how blind the rest of my family is. My one sister was a -8.75 last time she got glasses. She was making fun of me for needing glasses with only a -1.5.
I am short sighted since I was 14. (20 years ago). Wore glasses ever since. My eyes seem to be improving though as I had my last glasses for 7 years and still see well thru them.
