How has your meds been treating you?

I’m just curious as to how y’all feel on your meds. Side effects. If you’re changing them. I’ve been on perphenazine for at least five six years. I don’t want to switch to any med. I take effexor as well.

Effexor cannot be stopped abruptly it makes you sick. I see my pdoc tomorrow.

I’m on Effexor too! Great antidepressant without really any side effects.
I’m on Invega Sustenna max dose but it’s not that great anymore- i’m relapsing and i was having sexual problems so they were switching me to abilify until they finally talked with the other psychiatrist and let me go on haldol finally!
No side effects other than high prolactin.
Clonazepam stopped working a long time ago but they keep making me take it, hopefully changing to lorazepam PRN…
what else? I’m on pregabalin which doesn’t do much for me, no side effects. That’s about it.

they been alright.

i take the heavy stuff at night luckily. hardly been feeling it. i’ am at least sane now.

I feel good mentally on my meds but I don’t like the tachycardia it’s given me. And also the drooling.

I’m very satisfied with how my meds remove my psychosis. But I’m very unsatisfied with the negative and cognitive issue’s that this high dose of antipsychotics add.
So now I’m in the slow process of tappering down some of my meds.
If I in two months realize that my cognitives and negatives has improved to the extend that I can live with them we immediately stop tappering and that could mean that I evt must take 4 pills by mouth each day.

Y’all sound better than I do. I had to raise perphenazine a while back. I hope y’all’s meds keep helping.

I was on perphenazine for awhile at 16mg. Made me gain alot of weight.

disrupting me, a downer.
messing with my brain. I dont fu**ing know, something like that maybe "I dont know what is in that antpsychotica, chemicals or some s**t i dont think your brain is made of whats in that.
