Facebook tracks you. I installed a browser extension called " Facebook Container"
It prevents Facebook from tacking you. I use it on Firefox, I don’t know if it is available on Chrome.
Even google tracks you. Im 100% sure it suggests adverts on your search keywords and what content you watch or on what posts you linger. Im not sure fully about listening, but there are some cases people talking something out loud and facebook/google ad suggesting it. One time i called a police on and didnt know my location, but they were able to track correct location of me
