How do you talk to your pet

I say miaowaowaoaweeeeiiiiaaaooooeeeeeeee…

In a very high pitch in a long winded way lol.

It’s fun to see how he stares at me like there’s something wrong with me

lol. I talk to my grand dogs as if they were children. And I always repeat it. And it’s always in a higher pitch. I’m sure my stepson wants to slap me.

Hmm. . .

I Don’t Use The Word “pet” As A Label.

I Lean On The Word And Feeling Of ‘Friend’ Instead. . .

Friend And Family.

My voice goes soft and high-pitched and I repeat things and add ‘yes’ everywhere

“Hiii Freja baby, you’re so cute, yes you are, so cute. Wanna snuggle? Yes? Snuggle?”

I sound like an old lady cooing at a newborn :joy:

Our family cat does not mind being called a pet since for us, it has no negative connotations for him… :+1:

Hmm?. . .

Does Not Mind, Doesn’t Mind, Like Your “pet” Has Emotions, Thoughts, And A Spirit.

Ya’know. . .
