Who cares? Just pray a bit after. It’s God, you think he cares if you have a ■■■■ thought once in a while? Just don’t act on it.

Actions define your character. Thoughts are only the mere seedling. Like not even that, just the idea of a seedling. They barely matter.

And your brain is chronically stressed out from SZ. I imagine he’s giving you a pass on the blasphemous thoughts.

id LET them come through and then analyse why I am having them.

they are just thoughts, you are not acting on them which is good

Generally, I think negative thoughts, including blasphemy or cursing or even suicidal ideas, come from us being deeply frustrated. This illness takes its toll on our peace of mind because we are unable to do normal things that our peers seamlessly do, or to enjoy life as we deserve.

If you figure it out let me know

I have the same problem don’t know how to help

I get all types of intrusive thoughts, you just can’t blame yourself for it. I don’t know how to stop it, maybe the right meds? My meds don’t get rid of them really.

The right med and right dosage worked for me.
I thought Jesus was gay when I was unmedicated.

I don’t think God gets angry. After all we’re severely ill. Cut yourself some slack. If you’re a nice person with others, it suffices. We don’t need to keep track of every ridiculous thought that crosses the mind.

Send them to me. Sound like more fun than most of my thoughts.

Couldn’t the reason they keep intruding be that you give them so much power from all the effort you use to stop them? I used to police my thoughts as well and it was hell. I let the thoughts come to me and, for a short while it’s unpleasant. But I’ve gotten to th point of “don’t bother with them and they’re manageable.”

Let them pass by, don’t see them as a part of yourself.

It’s quite normal to have “alien thoughts” especially if you are having a SZ disorder.
