During the day? I think I went on about this before. Damn it. This is why I’m against daytime meds. My pdoc said I can take abilify at night. What ya think?

I used to rely on unhealthy amounts of caffeine but even that only did so much to combat the sedation from the meds. What dose of Abilify are you on? I have to take mine in the morning because it makes me so restless

Abilify I also found activating.
Are there any other factors that could be causing your sedation, @roxanna ? I had bad insomnia once… but sedation is a tough plight too I can’t imagine.

Not eating right. Idk. Perphenazine is a little sedating during the day.

Do you like fresh fruits and vegetables? Is it a finance type thing holding you back?
My issue rests on the opposite side of the same coin as I’m ‘upper-ed’ a lot of the time.
But recently I found I like blueberries a lot and if I have a helping I sleep more soundly.

I had my very first turkey burger the other day.
My SIL swore off beef and hasn’t looked back for awhile now…’
I’m unfamiliar with the med you named… maybe it’s even more sedating than you are attributing to it?
