im just sitting here, it’s good to not be working today, drinking a diet coke. had the radio on but it was stressing me out a little so i turned it off. i think i get the most relaxed after a hard workout, but today’s relaxing is nice after a couple days of work.
i don’t really have a method to relax. sometimes i get restless sitting around, other times im chill. depends on my days activity level i think.
yeah i wish i could enjoy video games again. a couple years ago i bought a ps4 and a couple games, but didn’t enjoy it, so gave the ps4 to my nephew. maybe i would like nintendo games. i always enjoyed zelda and mario and mario kart as a kid, i think i prefer nintendo to other systems, because im not into shoot em up games, but hesitant to buy one after my last waste of money. at least it was a good gift for my nephew.
I read a lot, listen to music, watch Star Trek, and play video games. Though I have to be careful with what games I play because they can stress me out until I beat that section of the game. I’m playing Sekiro Shadows Die Twice right now, and sometimes it can stress me out. But regardless, I’m loving it so far.
Giving myself a little break at work because I finished vacuuming early.
So sitting here in a vacant cubicle in a nearly empty wing of the building, relaxing in peace and quiet until I go downstairs in a minute and find out my next task.
haha. fair enough. usually relaxing is my natural state of being, but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing and then i get restless and agitated doing nothing. i need a healthy amount of activity each day to enjoy my relaxation time. just trying to find a healthy balance between activity and relaxing.
I’ve been here since the end of last August so it has lost that new feeling to me. This is about a block and a half from my home. I spend my lunch breaks outside walking when weather permits.
In a manner of speaking. My job is work-from-home. The tough part of my commute is not stepping on the cat or spilling my tea on the way down the stairs to my basement workstation.
