Try amazon.com ? Type in fleas
You should take them to a flea market … just a joke , I suppose there is some flea powder, at least 20 years ago was when I had cats.
I pop them. One at a time.
Yeah. Those little buggers are hard to kill. You have to squeeze them in half
I would go a natural remedy if I was you. Then do a multi approach like collars or oils and then the shampoo. And for your house I believe they have powders and sprays. I don’t have pets and live where the fleas find it inhabitable so I don’t know any specific brands but I don’t like the idea of the pesticides and use natural remedies (mint) to keep yellow jackets away (I’m allergic)
just google search natural remedies for fleas, I just did and there’s tons of them.
White vinegar will kill them. I have used it for years.
Peppermint oil helps keep them away.
*I have 9 cats, a German shepherd, and 9 adult rats with 11 tiny new babies.

How does that work? Do you set it up in a bowl and they are drawn to it?
No, you spray it into the dog or cat with a pump sprayer OR sponge it on. The fleas have to get it all over them. The acetic acid in vinegar kills them. I use it straight , no diluting with water in a sprayer. Rinse the fur and skin with water after letting it sit for a minute or two- you can then pour the water from tub over to rinse if you want. Will be a vinegar mix. This is also good for skin conditions from bacteria or fungi.
Full strength white vinegar sprayed on infested places will help. Mist it over the infested place. No rinsing. I buy white vineager by the gallon at SavALot or Wal-Mart cheap.
You can also mix dish soap and water to make a spray that covers their breathing holes. I don’t know the ratio.
Find the source. The fleas are coming from somewhere. There are several chemicals that can also be used to fumigate your house (read the directions - you (and pets) often have to close the windows and leave home while they are in use). You can call a professional exterminator, or you can try those aerosol spray “bombs” that you set off while you are away for a few hours. Not recommended if you live with pets, fish or children. If you have pets, they need to be treated aggressively. If your house is infested, then you need to exterminate them and clean your house with bug/flea “bombs.” Once you eradicate the source, the fleas will be gone.
Thank you 15151
I gave my dog to my ex a couple months ago, then my cat passed away a few weeks later, so I have no pets now, but my apartment still has fleas.
I have powder for the floor; it’s meant to be for carpets, and I have hardwood floors, but I’ve been too lazy to pick everything up off the floors to spread it around. I also bought the flea bombs, but again, too lazy to use them.
All I’ve is done put plates on the floor, one or two per room, and put water with a little dish soap on the plates. I’ve killed literally hundreds of fleas this way, possibly over a thousand by now, but yeah, it hasn’t completely eradicated the problem.
I’ve been wearing long socks, long pants and, when it’s not too warm, long-sleeve shirts, to keep them from biting me and getting a meal.
